Helene Marie Snarponis

Helene Marie Snarponis, a cherished resident of Broomall, PA for 59 years, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025, at the age of 86.

Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Catherine (née McHale) Conmy.

Helene's enduring legacy is marked by her 63-year marriage as a loving wife and mother to her four children. She embraced her role as "Mom-Mom" with warmth and pride, passionately supporting her grandchildren's sports activities, cheering them on from the sidelines, and providing a strong foundation of encouragement that shaped their lives.

A proud graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA, class of 1956, Helene was also deeply engaged in her local community. She was an active member of St. Anastasia Women's Club, where her spirit of service and generosity was evident to all who knew her.

An avid sports fan, Helene had a particular fondness for the Philadelphia Phillies, sharing her enthusiasm for the sport. In addition to her love for baseball, she relished playing tennis, golf, and bridge highlighting her zest for life and enjoyment of competitive pursuits.

Helene was the beloved wife of William J. Snarponis; the loving mother of William J. Snarponis (Maryalice) of Wayne, PA, Lynn M. Casper (the late Stephen) of Haddonfield, NJ, Pamela M. Coladonato (Anthony) of Paoli, PA, and Kathleen M. Pendleton (Daniel) of Kennett Square, PA. She was the devoted and caring grandmother of Michael Anthony Coladonato (Megan), Caroline Rose Coladonato, Kathleen Elizabeth Coladonato, Matthew Joseph Coladonato, Daniel William Snarponis, Alison Daisy Snarponis, William Martin Snarponis, Clare Helene Casper, Thomas William Casper, and Eliza Veronica Pendleton. She is also survived by her siblings, Catherine Lloyd (the late Harry), Marguerite France (the late Martin), and John P. Conmy (Eileen), and is predeceased by her sister, Barbara Mills (the late Edward).

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Sunday evening, April 6, 2025, 5:00 – 7:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, and on Monday morning, April 7, 2025, 9:30 – 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by her Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM. Interment thereafter at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
