Herbert Bascome

Herbert O. “Herb” Bascome, age 90, of Devon, PA, passed away on December 22, 2020.  Born in Ithan, PA, he was the son of the late Edmund and Charlotte Bascome (nee Woodcock).

Herb was an avid golfer, paddle ball player and tennis player and was ranked Number 2 in Doubles Tennis.  He loved the beach, gardening, family vacations and spending time with his family.  He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and a man of integrity.  He was a member of St. Mary’s Church for over 50 years.

Herb was predeceased by his beloved wife, Faith, whom he shared 60 years of marriage. He is survived by his loving children Jeffrey Bascome, Victoria Neff (Warren), and Abby Bascome, and his dear grandchildren, DJ Bullock, Austin Bullock, Travis Bullock, Brian Bascome, Amy Bascome and Darby Bascome, and his great-grandchildren

Services and interment will be private due to the Covid 19 pandemic.

There will be life celebration planned at a later date.
