Herbert Pankonin

Herbert L. Pankonin, age 92, of West Chester, PA, passed away on December 18, 2020. Born in Louisville, NE, Herb was the son of the late William Herman and Alice Eliza (nee Sluyter) Pankonin. He was also a veteran of the United States Army where he served during the Korean War.

Herbert was predeceased by his wife, the late Rosemary Pankonin (nee Ellis) and his grandson, Richard Stolnis. He was the loving father of Joanne Stolnis (Rick), Janice Suda (Tom), Denise Hammeke (Jim), Mary Alice Buemi (Tony), and Regina Karkosak (Don). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Due to the current pandemic, services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Herbert’s name to the American Heart Association, would be greatly appreciated.
