Herbert Rubenstein

Herbert Theodore Rubenstein, 90, of Cherry Hill NJ passed away on March 13, 2016, following a battle with pneumonia and cardiovascular disease.
Born in 1925, he was the fifth child of Israel and Bella Rubenstein. Herb is survived by his wife Mary; children Vance (Teresa) and Eric; and grandchildren Hall, Max and Audrey.
He served honorably in the Army, during World War II. He studied engineering at Penn State University and got his masters at University of Penn. For over 30 years as a RCA electrical engineer he designed and built communication systems. His passions in life were traveling the world, staying fit, cheering on his grandkids and caring for his wife.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 11:30 AM - 12:00 noon Friday, March 18, 2016 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, followed by his Funeral Service 12:00 noon. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Herb's favorite charity the Sierra Club or to Virtua Voorhees Hospital where he was cared for in his last days.
