Hildegard "Cookie" Weiser

Hildegard "Cookie" M. Weiser, 79, of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2021.

Born in June of 1941 in Straupitz, Germany, she was the only daughter of the late Bernard Joseph and Martha Magdalena Stahr

Cookie was much beloved by the community she worked in. As a local preschool teacher she cared deeply for the children around her. She was always involved in local activities like Girl Scouts and the Red Hatters.

She was passionate about her hobbies and interests. Among her favorites were traveling, going on cruises, and car trips. Cookie loved to visit new places and learn about new cultures, especially when there was a small market to browse. Each spring she couldn’t wait to get her fingers dirty in her garden.

Though she loved to travel the world, her favorite activities were always the ones when she was spending time with her family. She loved cooking for birthdays, hosting, and hanging out with her granddaughters.

Cookie was the beloved wife of Clinton R. "Bob" Weiser for just under 55 years; loving mother of Michael V. Weiser (Carol), Suzanne W. Hutchinson (Jim), and Gregory R. Weiser (Gloria); adoring grandmother of Madeline Weiser (Kevin), Julia Weiser, Victoria Hutchinson, Rebecca Hutchinson, Samantha Demarest (Mikey), Randahl Weiser; and caring great-grandmother of Elena Demarest.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation 10:30-11:30 AM Monday, March 22, 2021 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E Pleasant Grove Rd, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:30 AM. Interment private.
