Hiran Po Yii, age 46, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on November 10, 2017. Born in Bangkok, Thailand, he was the son of the late Harris B. Yii and Edita Juson Po.
Hiran was a networking champion. He loved people, dogs and cars. He loved to travel and never met a stranger. He influenced so many people and enjoyed being a mentor to them. He was focused on achieving success.
Hiran owned Yii & Associates, an accounting practice, where he helped so many people and small businesses in the community for decades. He built an award-winning Thai restaurant in Center City Philadelphia, Siam Lotus, which he ran for years and was the focal point of many social circles in the city. Most recently, Hiran was very active as an ACN Team Coordinator and Mason of Richmond-Solomon Lodge No. 3 in Philadelphia.
Hiran is survived by his siblings, Marilyn Hackman, Timothy Yu and Anna Yii, his dear niece, Shirley Ann Yu and his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, November 17, 2017 9:30-10:30 AM St. Agatha/St. James Church, 3814 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment private.
