Howard Bayne

December 18, 1928 — November 19, 2014

Howard Kenneth Bayne, 85, of West Chester, PA and formerly of Middletown, NY passed away on November 19, 2014 at Neighborhood Hospice.



Born in Baltimore, MD in 1928, Kenneth was the son of Susan (nee Carlton) and Martin Bayne, both deceased.



He served honorably in the US Army.



Kenneth was an Insurance Agent with Prudential Insurance in Middletown, NY and West Chester, PA.



He was a very active member of the West Chester Senior Center, a member and board member of the American Legion Post #134 in West Chester and a parishioner of SS Simon & Jude Church.



Kenneth was an avid sports fan, especially the Philadelphia Eagles and he dearly loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Sarah "Sally" (nee Landis) Bayne and his children, Linda K. Bayne, Richard G. Bayne and Gerard M. Bayne.



He was the loving father of Martin K. Bayne, Kelley J. Bayne (Sandy), Kenna M. Cuomo (Gene), and Susan A. Donges (Howie); loving grandfather of Samuel and Kenneth Cuomo and Patrick and Taylor Donges; and dear brother of Irene Horsley (Joe).



Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon Saturday, November 22, 2014 and to his Funeral Service 12:00 noon at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000. Interment Private.



Memorial Contributions are requested to the Neighborhood Hospice, 795 E. Marshall Street, Suite 204, West Chester, PA 19382.
