Howard J. Farling, 94, of West Chester, PA and formerly of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away on April 6, 2017.
Born in Indiana, PA in 1922, Howard was the son of the late Alfred and Margaret (Deegan) Farling.
He served proudly in the US Army Air Corps during World War II and was a businessman and owner of Computer Graphics, Inc.
Howard was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing, hunting, coin and stamp collecting and he loved animals.
Howard is the loving husband of Virginia M. (Donovan) Farling; loving father of Peg Stoddard (Lu), Terry Farling, Christine DeAngelis, Bruce Farling, Howard J. Farling, Jr. (Brenda), Marianne Medeiros (Larry), David J. Farling, Elizabeth J. Rayha (David) and Caroline M. Dlin (Geoff); dear grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Elvera (Chiaverelli) Farling and his sister, Elizabeth Morris.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-10:15 AM Tuesday, April 18, 2017, followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd, West Chester, PA 19380. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Chester County SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380.
