Ian Truax

Ian T. Truax, age 24, of Hartly, DE, formerly of Havertown, PA, passed away on February 24, 2021.   Born in Drexel Hill, PA, he was the son of John Thomas Truax "JT" and Johanna Truax (nee Dufour).

Ian was a graduate of Haverford High School.   He was a proud journeyman with IUPAC Union #456 in Nashville, TN.

Ian loved the outdoors and adored his dog, Ellie.

In addition to his parents, Ian is survived by his sister and best friend Rachel Truax, his paternal grandmother Anne Carlin and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Aloha and Albert Dufour and his paternal grandparent Richard Carlin.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, March 4, 2021 precisely from 9:30-10:50 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Manoa and Shelbourne Roads, Havertown, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be private.

Masks are to be worn when visiting the family and to the Funeral Mass.   Social distancing is to be observed.
