Ilse Laping

Ilse Laping, age 83, of West Chester, PA passed away on November 11, 2015.
Born in 1932 in Heufeld Banat, which was then part of Yugoslavia, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Elizabeth Beck.
Her parents relocated her and her younger brother Eric Beck to Chicago, IL. There she married Karl Laping in 1958.
Isle was a devoted mother to three sons, Nick (Carole) Laping, Carl (Karen) Laping, and Hans (Karrie) Laping, while supporting her husband's study of medicine in Austria. She was a trusted friend and partner supporting her husband's medical office in Quincy, IL. Ilse was a talented artist and enjoyed painting in oil and water color. She was a collector of rare antiques, running her own boutique. Ilse was a citizen of the world and very much enjoyed travelling throughout Europe and North America with her family.
She was a dear grandmother to Erik, Ryan, Mia, and Max.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM, Monday, November 16, 2015 at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd, West Chester, PA 19380 and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus Council 1333. 110 West Market St., West Chester, PA 19382.
