Ingeborg B. McGovern (nee Jakob), age 71, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on October 27, 2018.
Born in Memmingen, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Arno and Wally Jakob (nee Rupp).
Ingeborg was born and raised in the Catholic faith.
She had a strong belief in God.
She was a charming, fun-loving, compassionate and devoted person.
She loved history, culture, international politics, travel, food and drink, 60's music of her youth, especially the Rolling Stones.
She enjoyed walking in nature, outdoor cafes, and cheering for her home country in the Olympics and the World Cup. She also enjoyed visiting Christmas markets, baking and going to the beach, especially Cape May, NJ.
She loved long, intimate conversations with her daughters and friends.
She liked to laugh and appreciated humor.
She studied at the University in Freiburg im Breisgau and worked as a Medical Technologist in Munich and Chicago.
She enjoyed visiting family and friends in Germany and Switzerland.
Ingeborg is survived by her daughters Michelle A. (Tom) Eybye and Karen M. McGovern and her sister, Waltraud (Roland) Graber.
