Irene Gallagher

Irene M. Gallagher, age 78, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Berwyn, PA, passed away on May 14, 2021.

Born in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Irene M. Kelly (nee Donohue).

Irene was a proud graduate of Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School Class of 1960. She was an Entrepreneur in the Printing Industry. Irene enjoyed traveling, bowling, gardening, and sewing. She volunteered at Paoli Hospital Auxiliary and was a member of the Board Advisory Council at Hershey’s Mill Retirement Community. Irene loved going to Happy Hour with her friends and her grandkids events, whether it was sports or music.

Irene was the loving wife of the late Francis P. Gallagher, III; beloved mother of Francis P. Gallagher, IV (Jennifer), Christine M. Shindler (Ken), and the late David Gallagher; caring grandmother of Patrick, Lindsey, Meghan, Ryan, Kevin, Dylan, Kelly; devoted brother of Frank Kelly (Sheila).

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10-11 AM Friday, May 21, 2021 at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Road, West Chester, PA, 19380, followed by her Funeral Mass 11 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
