Irene Marie Inverso

Irene “Reenie” Marie Inverso (née Johnson) passed away May 21, 2023.

She was one of seven children born to parents Earl and Irene Johnson of Media, PA.

Reenie was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Ronald Inverso; and her siblings, Joanne Moyer, Johnny Johnson and Robert Johnson.

She was the loving mother of Diane Brown, Eric Brown and Tina Caiazza (Doug); proud grandmother of Natalie, Eric, Jr. and Carmella; and cherished sister of Patricia Lorenz (Richard), Lorraine Stein and Marie Clair. She is also survived by her in-law’s family, who showed her kindness after she unexpectedly lost her love, Ron.

She was “Reenie” to her sisters and “Aunt Reenie” to many nieces and nephews. She loved caring for her many pets and was an avid sports fan of all teams Philadelphia.  Irene was committed to her faith, and her positivity, selfless love and warmth will be dearly missed by those who had the pleasure to know her.

The family gives special thanks for the loving care Irene received from St. Martha’s Rehabilitation Center and Compassus.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date to accommodate out-of-town family and friends.
