Irma Withelder

Irma C. Withelder, 92, of Folsom, died January 23, 2017.Born in Branchdale, PA, Irma was a graduate of Reilly Township High School in 1942. After graduation she worked at the Indiantown Gap Military Base in the war effort. She then married Robert. L. Withelder in 1943 as he entered the U.S. Marines Corps. Her family moved to Folsom in 1949. She loved singing and taking care of her family and home. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Withelder who died in 1988, daughter of the late George J. and Lillian R. Daggett, sister of the late Mary Minnichbach, Eileen Flemming, Thomas Daggett, Jeanne Gauntlett and grandmother of the late Ray E. Withelder. Survivors: Sons Robert L. Withelder (Tina) of Wallingford, Richard F. Withelder (Deborah) of Morton, and Ronald J. Withelder (Sheila) of Aston, three grandsons, Ronald (Lauren), Gregory (Monica) and Jeffrey Withelder, three granddaughters, Amanda W. Reynolds (Brian), Noelle and Meredith Withelder, and seven great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday January 28, 2017 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Avenue, Morton, PA 19070 followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
