Isabel Brancato (nee McCandless) passed away peacefully on April 27, 2014 at age 93. Isabel was born on February 23, 1921 to the late Theodore Rankin and Josephine McCandless (nee Burke). After living in Upper Darby for 70 years, she moved to Sunrise Assisted Living in Granite Run where she resided for the past two years.
Isabel was the beloved wife of the late Al Brancato. She is survived by her children Sr. Helen David Brancato, I.H.M., Albert L. Brancato (Michael von Selle) and David J. Brancato (Debbie), her grandson and 2 great-granddaughters.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday, May 2, 2014 10:30 AM-12 Noon at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, and to her Funeral Mass 12:30 PM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to Camilla Hall, 1145 W. King Road, Immaculata, PA 19345 would be appreciated.
