Isora S. "Daisy" Fernandez

Isora S. “Daisy” Fernandez, age 86, of Havertown, PA, passed away on December 30, 2022. Born in Sagua La Grande, Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Abelardo and Felicita Sacerio (nee Gari).

Daisy was profoundly devoted to her faith and family. She was a member of the Hispanic Legion of Mary and spent a lot of time serving the Hispanic Community. Daisy was a Prayer Warrior who was always praying for those around her. She was a beloved music teacher and enjoyed hearing her talented students. Daisy enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Daisy was the beloved wife of the late Francisco J. “Ito” Fernandez; loving mother of Ana Parmet (Michael) and Rosa M. LoSardo (Joseph); adoring grandmother of Matthew Parmet-Romanko (Alice), Becca Patten (Dave), Francesca Raub (Alec), Joshua Parmet, Jeremy Parmet, Angelo LoSardo, Alex Parmet, and Sofia LoSardo; caring great-grandmother of Iyanna, Kira, Amaya, Niko, Rae, and Nora; devoted sister of Enriquè Sacerio and the late Abelardo Sacerio.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 9:00-10:25 AM on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA 19083. The Fernandez family invites everyone to pray the Rosary with them from 10:25-11:00 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
