Born and raised in Overbrook, PA, Jack was a kind and gentle man who was a good brother and friend. He enjoyed spending times with his friends and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
He graduated from St. Thomas More High School.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, worked at the Philadelphia Navy Yard and Purolator Freight.
Jack was preceded in death by his father Leroy, mother Helen McMahon Forester and brother Gerald (Jerry) Forester (Pat), Newark, DE. He is survived by his sister Kathleen Forester, Drexel Hill, PA and brothers Thomas (Veronica), Havertown, PA James (Olga), Yucaipa, CA, Dennis (Karen), Drexel Hill, PA and David (Kathy), Lansdowne, PA, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 63rd Street and Lancaster Avenue, Philadelphia PA.
Burial will be private.
