James Bradley, Sr.

James F. Bradley, Sr., age 68, passed away on May 3, 2016, of Ridley Park, formerly of Upper Darby and Philadelphia. Loving father of James F. Bradley, Jr. (Lori), Jaqueline A. Bradley, Jennifer Harris (Jim), and Jerry S. Bradley (Erin). Dear brother of Kay Protesto, Helene Gilogly, Robert Bradley and the late John Bradley and Elizabeth Hopkins (Dick). Grandfather of Stephen, Sean, Julia, Luke, Nicole, Samantha, Owen, Maggie Rose and Grace. Mr. Bradley was predeceased by his wife, Margaret L. Bradley (nee Kennedy) and his parents, John and Catherine (nee Murray) Bradley. Mr. Bradley was a Splicer for Verizon Communications and was President of CWA Local 13000. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing golf, fishing and playing pinochle with his friends. Mr. Bradley was in the Air Force as an Assistant Chaplain in the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1970. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation 6:00 -9:00 PM Monday and 9:00 -9:45 AM Tuesday at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Avenue, Morton, PA 19070 and to his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM, St. Madeline's Church, 110 Park Street, Ridley Park, PA 19078. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
