James Broussard

James J. Broussard, age 84, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on July 17, 2019.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Murphy and Florence Broussard (nee Guglielmo).
James attended Girard College for Boys and received his Bachelor's Degree from LaSalle University.
He was the owner of Evans, Conger, Broussard & McCrea, Inc. (ECBM), an insurance agency.
James was a devoted Catholic and attended daily Mass.
James was proud of his mother for the sacrifice she made by placing him in Girard College for Boys.
James never forgot Girard College and in his later years he started the Girard College Development Foundation to test children on where they should be placed.
James was a member of Legatus and a board member of Independent Mission Schools.
He was an extremely charitable person who helped people and companies in need.
In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his daughter, Jeannine Broussard.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marygene Broussard (nee Baker), his loving children Danielle Broussard (John), Matthew Broussard and Odette Burtulato, his grandchildren Jeannine, Christopher, Naomi and Grayson and his sister, Carol Tinari (Nino).
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Sunday, July 21, 2019 6:00-8:00 PM and Monday, July 22, 2019 9:00-10:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, PA.
Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
