James J. "Jim" Callan, age 56, of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on November 22, 2018.
Born in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Margaret T. Callan (nee Shields) of the Bronx, NY.
Jim was a 1985 graduate of Penn State University.
He had recently been employed by the Commonwealth of PA and previously employed by Verizon as a Product Manager.
Jim's interests included online Chess and Scrabble, playing guitar and horticulture.
In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by his brothers Raymond J. Callan (Deborah) and Eugene J. Callan (Laurie).
Jim is survived by his brother, Thomas J. and Nancy Callan of Franklin Park, PA, his sister-in-law Laurie and his cherished niece and nephew Erin and Ryan Callan.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, December 8, 2018
2:00-4:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 followed by his Memorial Service at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the donor's choice in Jim's name.
