James Cunningham

James L. Cunningham, of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Springfield, PA, passed away on May 20, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Dorothy R. Cunningham (nee Henkels) and James L. Cunningham Sr.
James served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era. He was employed as an Accountant with Einstein Hospital. He retired in 2011.
James is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret A. Cunningham (nee Toal), his loving children Sandy Sgro (Ted), Kathy Sides (Leo), Eileen Brennan (Robert), Matthew Cunningham and Jennifer Bruchstein (Guy), his siblings Mary Ann Coe, Sr. Susan Cunningham SSJ, Michael, Joseph, and Maureen Lawlor, his 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Joseph and brother, Richard.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, May 26, 2017 9:30-10:20 AM at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment private.
Contributions in his memory to the Children's Heart Foundation, P.O. Box 244, Lincolnshire, IL 60069 would be appreciated.
