James P. English, age 86, of Villanova, PA passed away peacefully at home December 13, 2016.
Beloved husband of Victoria English (nee Janeczek). Loving father of James English (Eileen Driscoll) and Karla Barbieri(Christopher). Devoted grandfather of Jeffrey and Eric.
James was born in Westfield, MA. He served his country in the U.S Army during the Korean War. He worked as a Financial Advisor most recently with Brown Brothers Harriman and was a Past President of Philadelphia Securities Association. He volunteered with Main Line Hospice after retiring and enjoyed golf. James and his wife were longtime members of St. Thomas of Villanova parish.
Relatives and friends are invited to James' visitation on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 9 AM to 10:30 AM in St. Thomas of Villanova Church on the campus of Villanova University, Villanova, PA 19085. Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a donation in James' name may be made to St. John's Hospice, 1221 Race St., Philadelphia, PA. 19107. Arrangements by Donohue Funeral Home , 366 W. Lancaster Ave. Wayne, PA 19087.
