James Esq. Jr.

James E. Colleran, Jr., Esq. "Jim", age 51, of Brigantine, NJ, passed away on August 13, 2017.



He was the beloved father of James E. III and Cierra L. Colleran; loving son of James E. Sr. and Mary T. Colleran (nee Butler); brother of Francis T. Colleran, Teresa C. Quinn (James) and David J. Colleran (Shelagh). Also survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.



Jim was a graduate of Great Valley High School, Princeton University and Villanova University School of Law. An immensely talented and respected trial attorney, he began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Montgomery County, where he prosecuted cases in the Major Crimes Unit of the Trials Division, before leaving the DA's office to join with his father and siblings in founding The Colleran Firm.



A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on August 19, 2017 at St. Katharine of Siena Church in Wayne, PA. Burial was private.
