James A. Ferraro

James “Jim” A. Ferraro, 81, of Downingtown, PA, formerly of Malvern, PA passed away on November 2, 2022.

Born in Yonkers, NY in 1941, Jim was the beloved son of the late James A. and Florence (née Baxter) Ferraro.

Jim was the beloved husband, for 60 years, of Jean R. Ferraro (née Kieffer); loving father of Lori Ann Giangiordano (Bernie) of Ocala, FL and James R. Ferraro (Michelle) of Reading, PA; proud grandfather of Tyler A. Giangiordano, Kelsey A. Giangiordano, J. Travis Ferraro, Jaclyn A. Ferraro, Stephen A. Koch and Jason A. Koch;  brother of Roy Ferraro.

Jim earned his Bachelor’s degree from Manhattan College and his Master’s degree from Villanova University. He worked in the Aerospace industry for Lockheed Martin as a Structural Engineer. He enjoyed technology, electronics and metal working. He loved to travel and experience different cultures. Jim was a past Boy Scout Leader for Troop 76.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Wednesday, November 9, 2022 and to his Funeral Service 11:00 AM at the Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA, 610-431-9000. Interment Philadelphia Memorial Park Mausoleum, Frazer, PA.
