James Neil Gilmartin

James Neil Gilmartin, age 56, of West Chester, PA, formerly of New Jersey, passed away on January 22, 2025.

Jim was the son of the late Henry and Janet (nee Neil) Gilmartin. Born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1968, he was a true Scotsman to the end. Jim moved to the USA at the age of 7 and loved to entertain his family with his Scottish dialect and accent. As an Electronics Technician, he worked with a lot of military defense contracts. Jim was an avid collector of model trains and enjoyed building and sharing his designs with family and friends. He enjoyed all historical events and places. A history buff, Jim would visit these places with Lisa. They enjoyed traveling to South Carolina and spending their many treasured days together. Whether at home or just doing errands, they were a perfect match for each other. Jim's greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Jim was the loving life partner of Lisa Renzulli; caring brother of Janet Langborgh (Dan); dear uncle of Kayla Ruben (Cody) and Iain Langborgh (Allison) and great-uncle of Leslyanne Langborgh. 

Services and interment are private. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, would be appreciated.
