James Hennelly

James F. "Jim" Hennelly, age 88, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on December 5, 2020.   Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John and Helen Hennelly (nee Walsh).

Jim served in the United States Army during the Korea War era.   He was employed as a Controller/Accounting in the paper and packaging industry.

In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by his brothers, Thomas, John, Charles and Dennis Hennelly.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemary Hennelly (nee Marinelli), his daughters Linda Brigandi (Paul) and Denise Hennelly, his grandchildren Paul (Kara) John (Sarah), James and Christopher and his great-grandchildren Michael, Sophia, McKenna and Lucas.  He is also survived by his siblings Michael Hennelly (Carol), Mary Pellegrini (the late Gamp) and Helen Davis (Joseph), and his sisters-in-law Geraldine, Joan and Rosemarie Hennelly.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Thursday, December 10, 2020 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at The Cathedral Basilica of SS Peter and Paul, 18th and Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

Masks are to be worn when visiting the family, to the Funeral Mass and the Cemetery.   Social distancing is to be observed.
