James Henry

James B. "Jim" Henry, 67, of Honeybrook, PA passed away on October 10, 2018.



Previously a resident of Drexel Hill, he was the son of the late Francis J. and Violet A. (née Howland) Henry and grew up in Lansdowne and Newtown Square.

Jim was retired from Comcast, working most recently as a Director of Engineering in Plymouth. Michigan. Prior to changing careers several years ago, Jim worked at Pathmark Supermarkets as a Journeyman Meat Manager.

He enjoyed keeping up with the latest technology, restored vintage radios, and had built his own radio station, broadcasting local public announcements, weather, and radio shows of yesteryear. Jim loved animals and adopted rescue cats and dogs.

Jim was the beloved husband of 42 years of Elizabeth A. (nee Phelps) Henry; loving father of Elizabeth V. Levesque and Jamie E. Henry; dear brother of Donna Rudolph and Carole Henry; predeceased by his siblings, Arthur G. Lyle and Maureen Henry; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10 AM-12 PM Friday, October 19, 2018 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080, followed by his Funeral Service at 12 PM. Interment Fernwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the International Pemphigus Pemphigoid Foundation, 1331 Garden Hwy, Suite 100, Sacramento, CA 95833, would be appreciated.
