James T. Holmes, 90, of Media, PA, passed away on March 11, 2017.
Born in Bristol, RI, Jim was the son of the late James and Caroline Holmes (nee Flaherty) and was predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth Holmes.
Jim served in the U.S. Navy and later became an Automobile Salesman. He enjoyed woodworking, cruises, and playing Pinochle.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife, H. Louise Holmes (nee Bakey), loving daughter Linda Cook (William), and stepson Joseph Tierney (Donna) and Robert Tierney (Carol) and his step-grandchildren Megan, Allison, Kelly and Tom.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation 9:30 AM-10:20 AM Saturday, March 18, 2017 St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
