James S. Looper

James S. Looper, 76, of Coatesville, PA and formerly of Garden Grove, CA passed away on March 20, 2022.

Born in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles and Alice (née Bennett) Looper.

James was the beloved husband, for 45 years, of Judy L. (née Wright); loving father of Tammy Wright; devoted grandfather of Michael and Elizabeth; dear brother of Marsha Koehler. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Joyce Savage and Nancy Ramsey.

James was a supervisor custodian in the Garden Grove School district in California for 42 years.

James loved to go out dining with his wife. He enjoyed traveling, gambling and was an avid billiards player. James was a Cleveland Browns, Indians and Ohio State University sports fan.

Though a quiet man, he was quick witted and loved by everyone who knew him. Most of all, James loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter and grandchildren.

Services and interment are private.
