James MacBride

James K. “Jim” MacBride, age 52, of Secane, PA, passed away on June 28, 2021.  Born in Drexel Hill, PA, he was the son of the late William and Joan MacBride (nee Allen).

Jim was a great, emotionally invested, supportive and advice giving father.  He was always smiling, was a gentle man and a big teddy bear.   He enjoyed weekends with his friends, and was a grill and smoke master. He loved music and attending concerts. He was also a volunteer fireman with the Primos-Secane Fire Company.

He is survived by his loving children, Amanda Meikle (Sean) and Kyle MacBride.  Brother to David MacBride (Janice), brother-in-law to Judi MacBride, predeceased by his brother, William MacBride.  Also survived by his co-parent and friend, Alison Koch Patterson and his cat, Reggie.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Thursday, July 8, 2021 6:00-8:00 PM and Friday, July 9, 2021 10:00-11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be private.
