James F. O'Donnell, age 90, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on September 16, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late James Anthony and Mary Ellen O'Donnell (nee Morris).
James was a graduate of Villanova University. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War era. He was employed with the B&O Railroad for 47 years. He retired in June, 1989.
He is survived by his sisters Catherine O'Donnell, Sara Ferrie, Anne Flannery and Mary O'Donnell and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday, September 26, 2017 9:30-10:20 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to St. Laurence Church at the above address would be appreciated.
