James Patrick Reardon

James Patrick Reardon passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024, at the age of 90. Born to the late Theodore and Fannie (nee Murray) Reardon in Philadelphia, PA.

James proudly served his country as an Army Veteran during the Korean War. A graduate of Murrell Dobbins Vocational Technical School in 1959 through the apprenticeship of Plumbers Union Local 690. In his leisure time, James enjoyed attending Devon Horse Shows, auctions, and his store J & B Merchandise in East Lansdowne.

James was married for 48 years to his beloved wife, Marie. Together, they raised five children in Upper Darby. James is survived by his children, Annamarie Reardon, Jimmy Reardon Jr., Darlene Perna (Robert Jr.), John Reardon, and Kevin Reardon (Andrea); Grandchildren, James Maropoulos Jr. (Stacy), Vincent Perna (Nikole), and Heather Perna; Great-grandchildren Aiden, Jameson, and great grandbaby number three expected this month. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as, his sister-in-law, Teresa Reardon and brothers-in-law, Harry Tittermary and Warren Davenport. James was predeceased by his loving wife, Marie Josephine (Nardi) Reardon and his siblings, Teddy, Ellen, Mary, Josephine, Frances, Thomas, Audrey, Betsy, Anna, and Michael.

The Viewing and Funeral Service will be held on September 12, 2024, at Donohue Funeral Home in Upper Darby, PA. The Viewing will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield, PA.
