James N. J. Henwood, Ph.D., 84, of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Havertown and East Stroudsburg, PA passed away on November 29, 2016.
Professor Emeritus of History at East Stroudsburg University. Jim was an Army Veteran who served in Korea.
Beloved son of the late Harry F. and Esther C. (nee Peterson); uncle of Deborah A. Langdon and David Henwood; cousin of Paul Peterson; predeceased by his siblings Marianne Henwood, Harry F. Henwood, Jr., and Sr. Christine Noel Henwood, I.H.M.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Tuesday 10:00 AM, Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd, Havertown, PA 19083 with a viewing in Church from 9:00-9:50 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
