James Rice

James A. Rice, age 92, of Riddle Village, Media, formerly of Springfield, PA, passed away on August 12, 2016. James was retired longtime employee of General Electric and a proud WWII Veteran. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth M. "Betty" (nee Walls), dear father of Michael and David (Adele) Rice. Devoted grandfather of Anthony, Chris and Rose. Brother of Don (Betty) Rice and Ben Rice. James is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his five siblings. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 9:15 - 10:20 AM at Divine Providence Village, 686 Old Marple Rd, Springfield, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM, Interment will be at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Divine Providence Village at the address above would be appreciated.
