James F. Townsend, age 89, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on March 21, 2014. James was the beloved husband of the late Mary J. Townsend (nee Douge). Loving father of James M. (Lois), John T. (Eleanor) and Michael P. (Katie) Townsend. Brother of Margaret Goate. Grandfather of Michael P. Townsend, Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
