James Vecchio

James W. Del Vecchio, 81, passed away on October 7, 2017. Born in Drexel Hill, PA in 1936, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Marion A. (Chapman) Del Vecchio. He was the loving husband of the Josephine (nee Hernandez) Del Vecchio; loving father of Geri McCausland (Jack) and Jay Del Vecchio (Lauren); loving brother of Charles Del Vecchio (the late Ferding) and the late Peg News (Thomas); loving grandfather of Elise McCausland and step-grandfather of Samantha Del Vecchio; and great-grandfather of Hailey Rose Moser. James served honorably in the US Air Force. He was a Utility Foreman with PECO/ Exelon until his retirement. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9-10 AM Friday, October 13, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima, 10 Fatima Drive, Secane, PA 19018 followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Providence Animal Center, 555 Sandy Hook Road, Media, PA 19063.
