James Waters

James J. Waters, 89, formerly of Hobe Sound, FL and Springfield, PA passed away on November 29, 2016.
Born in Clifton, PA, he was the son of the late Hugh and Veronica Waters.
Jim was a 1944 graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys in Philadelphia. He worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, Penn Central Railroad and Conrail for 42 years.
He was a founding member of the Cardinal O'Hara High School Fathers' Guild.
Jim was a Third Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his loving children James, Jr. (Lynn), Gerard (Maria), Joseph (Therese) and Annmarie Cox (David), ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Jim was predeceased by his devoted wife Theresa E. Waters, his son, Vincent D. and two sisters, Mary Comey and Veronica (Sis) Reaves.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 9:30-10:45 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2016 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct., West Chester, PA followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Neighborhood Hospice, 795 E. Marshall St., Suite 204, West Chester, PA 19380.
