James J. Wilson of Havertown, PA, passed away on April 15, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was 66 years of age.
Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late James "Nuke" and Alice "Dolly" (nee Field) Wilson. He was a life-long resident of Upper Darby Township. Jim graduated Monsignor Bonner High School in 1968. He was an Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. Trained as a carpenter, he worked as an independent contractor and construction supervisor.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jane (nee Sonefelt) Wilson; his loving children Jac Lynn Sharp (Buddy), Jeanne Wilson (Thomas Boulay), and Joseph Wilson; his dear siblings Alice Hoey, Michael Wilson, Peggy Wagner, Jeanne DeFalco, and John Wilson; his caring grandchildren Maisy, Ivy, Mason, Jake and Max; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends are invited to greet the family Thursday April 20, 2017 at 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Bernadette Church, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
