James W. Walsh, Jr., age 78, of Sterling Heights, MI, formerly of Chalfont, PA, passed away on February 25, 2020.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late James W. Walsh, Sr. and Teresa Walsh (nee Cornell).
Jim was employed as a Inventory Quality Control Manager for McLaughlin Printing in Philadelphia, PA. He was an exemplary employee and a perfect gentleman. He took extreme detail in the quality of his work.
Jim was a well-loved, kind, caring, thoughtful gentleman who made people laugh, a great dancer and loved to dance at weddings. He enjoyed going out to eat and loved listening to music, especially, 50's music, piano and the classics. He took care of both his parents in sickness until they passed. He would help the elderly of his church parish taking them to doctor appointments and grocery shopping with them.
In Michigan, he joined a senior group going to visit the elderly who were unable to go out. Jim was meticulous in his dress and in his appearance. Jim also enjoyed collecting die cast automobiles.
Jim was predeceased by his beloved wife, Linda Walsh (nee Miller). He is survived by his sister-in-law Diana Hamilton (Ray), his cousin Mary Jane McGuire (John) and many other cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 10:30 AM at St. Jude Church, 321 W. Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA. Interment Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA.
