Jane A. Clancy

Jane A. Clancy (nee Maize), age 90, of Southwest Philadelphia, PA, passed away on June 25, 2022.  She was born in Philadelphia, PA. Jane was predeceased by her husband, Francis Clancy, her parents, Rufus and Helen Altrogge, and her birth mother, Margaret Rafferty.

Jane was a nurse for 30 years and worked for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University Hospital, and Pennsylvania Hospital. Jane was a devout Catholic and a member of the Legion of Mary. Jane was a strong and independent woman and a single mom for many years. She was a loving Mom and MomMom. She loved to travel and to spend time with her friends and family. She was dearly loved and will be missed.

Jane was the loving mother of Michael, Patricia, and the late Vincent; grandmother of Kimberlee, Amy Lynn, Michele, Justin (Angelica), and Cory; great-grandmother of Devon, Kylie, Madilyn, Jackson, Jordynn, Luke, Gabriel, and Jameson. She was predeceased by her siblings, Sally Wilsey, Margaret Lewis, Genevieve Price, Bill Altrogge, and Jack Altrogge.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 9:00-10:00 AM Thursday, June 30, 2022 at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA 19008, followed by her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM. Interment St. Denis Cemetery.
