Jane D. Harner (nee Arters), 79, of Glenmoore, PA, passed away on December 20, 2018 in South Carolina.
Born in 1939 in East Brandywine Township, PA, Jane was the beloved daughter of the late Daniel J. and Mary A. (nee McNelly) Arters.
She was a graduate of Downingtown Senior High School and worked for the Devereux Foundation for over a decade.
Jane was the beloved wife of the late Ronald L. Harner, Sr.; loving mother of Mary Anna (Harner) Smalley Reese (Gordon L. Reese), Ron L. Harner, Jr. (Leigh A.); adoring grandmother of Kyle P. Smalley (Cortnie), Tyler M. Smalley (Addison), Meagan Reese, and Tiffany Reese; great-grandmother of Colton Hunter Smalley; and dear sister of Herman Arters, Howard Arters, Arlene Schlimme, Dallas Arters, Martin Arters, Mable Biddle, John Arters, Ruthanne Knight, and Gene Arters. She was predeceased by three brothers: Daniel Arters, Sr., Rodney Arters, and Conley Arters.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday, December 28, 2018 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080 followed by her Funeral Service at 12:00 noon. Interment East Nantmeal Christian Fellowship Cemetery.
