Jane Elizabeth Howarth

Jane Elizabeth Howarth (née Johnston), 88, of West Chester, PA passed away on July 25, 2024.

Born in 1936, in Greensburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Louise (Hayden) Johnston.

Jane loved watching tennis and going to the beach. She was an avid family photo collector and loved displaying them throughout her home. She also enjoyed reading, taking walks, spending time on her porch and growing flowers in her garden. But her favorite thing was spending time with her family and friends.

She was a longtime member of Bible Baptist Church since 1973 and she enjoyed taking part in the Nursery Ministry with the church.

Jane was the beloved wife, for 61 years, of the late Jack A. Howarth; loving mother of Donna Sadowitz (Chris), Jack Jr., Brenda Bellinger (Brian), Jennifer Bohs (Dennis) and the late Steven; proud grandmother of Jessica, Daniel, Michelle, Naomi, Alexis, Nicole, Steven, Emily, Allison, Evan, Benjamin, Ashley, Melanie and Lindsey; great-grandmother of Athenia, Joey and Josey; dear sister of Sally Bloodsworth. She was predeceased by her siblings; Glenn Johnston, Jim Johnston and Dottie Pritchard.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday, August 1, 2024 and to her Funeral Service 11:00 AM at Bible Baptist Church, 1237 Paoli Pike, West Chester, PA. Interment Private.
