Mrs. Jannette “Janet” DeVito of Newtown Square, passed away on July 8, 2021 at Lankenau Hospital. Born in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Mary Iuliano (ne Nackreli). She was predeceased by her brothers Nicholas and Carmine Iuliano.
She worked for 43 years as a Unit Secretary in the Labor and Delivery Unit of Lankenau Hospital where she was revered by her colleagues. She loved spending her time on the beach in North Wildwood, NJ and collecting Byers Choice Carolers. Janet was a parishioner of St. Anastasia Church in Newtown Square.
Janet is survived by her loving children Thomas DeVito, Donna M. Flick (Bobby) and Michelle Tomasco and her brother Joseph Iuliano.
Janet loved spending time with her family. “Mom Mom” will be missed by her 10 grandchildren Robert Flick, Kristin Mozefori (Marco), Ashley Nee (Thomas), Nicole DeSanto (Mike), Tommy DeVito, Brittany DeVito, Nicholas DeVito (Savannah), Michael Tomasco, Jacqueline Tomasco and Tara Tomasco and her 7 great-grandchildren Marco, Zoey, Elliana, Chloe, Brady, Thomas and Camilla. She had a huge love for animals especially her cat, Bella and all of her grandpets. She also loved visiting with her cousins and family in New Jersey.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday, July 16, 2021 9:00 AM-10:00 AM and to her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
