Janet Marie (Salerno) Mignogna

Janet Marie (Salerno) Mignogna, age 81, of Bryn Mawr, PA, formerly of Bellmawr, NJ, passed away on July 1, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Gennaro “Jerry” and Gilda (Patragnoni) Salerno.

Janet was a devoted middle school science teacher for 30 years, and met her husband, Victor, at her first school of employment, Veterans Memorial middle school in Camden, NJ. Janet’s biggest joy in life was spending time with her 3 grandsons and family in Avalon, NJ.

Janet was the beloved wife of Victor Mignogna; loving mother of Marissa Paino (Steven) and Mark Mignogna (Judith); adoring grandmother of Alessandro Paino, Ryan Mignogna, and Jake Mignogna; caring sister of Ronald Salerno (Diana).

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass 9:30 AM Thursday, July 7, 2022 at St. Thomas of Villanova Rosemont Chapel, 1229 East Lancaster Ave, Rosemont, PA 19010, followed by her Visitation 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 West Lancaster Ave, Wayne, PA 19087.
