Dr. Jay A. Desjardins, 84, on November 23, 2014, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Havertown, PA.
Beloved husband of Norma Desjardins (nee Adelizzi); loving father of Paula Desjardins Strauss (David), Christine Emery, M.D. (Donald, M.D.), Marilyn Hauser (Daniel), Jay A. Desjardins (Michele), and Stephen P. DesJardins (Julie); loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren; and dear brother of Joan Ranck. He was predeceased by his brother, Frank Desjardins.
Dr. Jay was a beloved physician, who was also a gifted woodworker, master chess player, vocabulary aficionado and avid golfer. He was an Eagle Scout and US Navy veteran.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 and to his Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Road, West Chester, PA 19380. Int. SS Peter & Paul Cem.
