Jean T. Cahill

Jean T. Cahill (née Hughes), age 76, of Springfield, PA, passed away on December 6, 2022.

Born in Maple Shade, NJ, she was the daughter of the late James and Eleanor (née Detter) Hughes.                                          

Jean was employed with Divine Providence Village for 25 years.  She was also a member of the Women’s Club of Media.  She was an avid traveler with her husband, Ed.  Jean also loved to cook.  Above all, being with her family and friends and spending time with them was most precious to her.

Jean was the beloved wife of 53 years of the late Edward T. Cahill; the loving mother of Ed Cahill (Rebekah) and Ryan Cahill (Jamie); devoted grandmother of Ryan, Celeste, Connor, and Makena; and dear sister of James Hughes, and the late Jane Glisson.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Monday evening, December 12, 2022, 7 – 9 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, 610-353-6300 and on Tuesday, 10 – 11 AM at Church of St. Kevin, 200 West Sproul Road, Springfield, PA, followed by her Funeral Mass, 11 AM.  Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
