Jean Foley

Jean A. Foley (nee Galli), 93, of Media, PA, passed away on February 2, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1929, she was the daughter of the late John and Jennie (nee Ficco) Galli. Jean worked for the Delaware County Conservation district for 17 years and held various jobs in accounting and bookkeeping in various local businesses. She was part of the Springfield Republican Committee for over 20 years and was an active member of The Business and Professional Women’s Club. Jean was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family.

Jean was the beloved wife of the late John Foley, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage; loving mother of Maryanne Foley, Susan Urban (George), and Janet James (Harry); adoring grandmother of Jesse James (Niki), Sarah Mace (Chris), Keith James, Karolina Urban, and Alex Urban and great-grandmother of 7 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30-10:20 AM Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, PA 19064, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment private.
