Jean T. Scott

Jean T. Scott (nee Torrey), age 98, of Springfield, PA, passed away on March 23, 2022.   Born in Jenkintown, Pa, she was the daughter of the late William and Elsie Torrey (nee Gordon).

Jean had been employed as a Registered Nurse.   She enjoyed gardening, animals, and birds.  She was a superb knitter.   She hand-knitted a new sweater for every Baptism at St. Martin Episcopal Church for 20 years.

Jean was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Allan Scott and her son, Douglas Scott.  She is survived by her children Cynthia S. Borst (Ralph) and Nancy A. Scott, and her daughter-in-law, Jane Scott.   Also survived by her grandchildren Claire A. Scott (Jessica), Mhari G. Scott (Craig Hanus) and Joy F. Scott.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Martin Episcopal Church, 400 King of Prussia Road, Radnor, PA.   Interment will be private.
