Jennie Collins

Jennie Elizabeth Collins, age 34, passed away on September 12, 2017 at Temple University Medical Center in Philadelphia surrounded by loved ones.



Jennie a recent resident of Philadelphia and long- time resident of West Chester, Pennsylvania, was born in Cambridge, MD on January 17, 1983 to parents Paul and Christine Collins.



Jennie loved most of all spending time with her daughter Ashlyn. She enjoyed taking Ashlyn to the park and enjoying time with her outdoors. Jennie also enjoyed going to the movies with her mother and her brother Rob or just hanging out with them reminiscing and laughing over many childhood memories. Jennie also had a talent for drawing and art as well as writing poetry. She was the kind of person who opened her heart to everyone she came in contact with and shared her love and friendship with so many. She will be fondly remembered for her loving heart, warm smile and kind soul.



Jennie is survived by her daughter Ashlyn Toro of Philadelphia, PA, her brother, Robert Collins of West Chester, PA and her Father, Paul Collins of Milton, DE; and many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Jennie was predeceased by her mother Christine Collins with whom she shared a very special bond.



Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 12:00-1:00 PM Saturday, September 23, 2017 and to her Memorial Service 1:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000.



In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to a scholarship fund set up in support of her daughter Ashlyn Toro.
