Joan Alice Carini (nee Pirollo), of Broomall, PA, formerly of South Philadelphia passed peacefully on October 13, 2015 at the age of 82.
Joan was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Carini, Sr., she was the loving mother of Joseph (Suzanne) Carini, Anthony (Margie) Carini and Licia (Mark) Carini-Evans, she was the dear sister of Joseph (Josephine) Pirollo, Jr., Marie Finizio, Patricia Cosenza, Anthony (Irene) Pirollo and the late Dolores and Nicholas Pirollo. Joan is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Andrea (Joe), Daria, Joey and Marcy and her great-granddaughter Stellina Joan.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 610-353-6300 and to her Funeral Mass Monday, October 19, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory to The American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 would be appreciated.
